We’re Hiring: Whānau Ora Navigator

About the Role

The Whānau Ora Navigator supports whānau to access services, build resilience, and stay connected to opportunities. You’ll be part of a team committed to manaaki, whanaungatanga, and empowering whānau to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusting relationships with whānau
  • Help set and support achievable goals
  • Connect whānau with services in health, housing, education, and more
  • Keep clear and confidential notes
  • Collaborate with iwi kaimahi and community groups
  • Deliver professional, tikanga-aligned support

Ideal Candidate

  • Warm, empathetic, great with people
  • Confident working independently and with a team
  • Understands te ao Māori and local context
  • Has relevant experience or a strong desire to support whānau
  • Knowledge of local services is a bonus
