The Individual Sports Grant supports Ngāti Mutunga o Wharekauri members undertaking representative duties in sports at regional or national levels. This grant helps cover fees, sporting gear, and travel expenses.

Apply for the Kaumātua Grant to receive financial support for kaumātua aged 65 and over who are registered members of Ngāti Mutunga o Wharekauri. This grant provides $500 annually to eligible kaumātua to support their well-being.
The Pūtea grant supports initiatives that enhance the cultural wellbeing of ngā uri o Ngāti Mutunga o Wharekauri, up to $5,000 annually. Priority is given to projects that align with cultural goals such as whakapapa, te reo me ngā tikanga, and whānau development.
The Secondary School Boarding Grant provides $750 to assist with the costs of boarding for Ngāti Mutunga o Wharekauri students attending secondary schools. It covers both boarding school fees and private boarding arrangements.
The Secondary School Travel Grant assists tauira of Ngāti Mutunga o Wharekauri descent with travel costs for attending secondary school off-island. Eligible students may apply once per financial year to ease the financial burden of travel and ensure access to quality education.
The Tangihanga Grant provides financial assistance to cover tangihanga costs for registered beneficiaries of Ngāti Mutunga o Wharekauri. This grant offers a contribution of $1,000 to support whānau in times of bereavement.
The Tertiary Grant assists tauira of Ngāti Mutunga o Wharekauri descent with enrolment fees for tertiary education. Eligible students may apply once per financial year for support toward their educational journey.
